Shannon, Apr 5, 2023

With more than 3,000 concrete hippos spread throughout the city, it is easy to see why so many people are attracted to the fun and quirky vibe that the city of Hutto has to offer. This nod to a local legend, which claims a hippo escaped from a circus train and into the city in 1915, isn’t the best or only fun that Hutto has to offer. The city tends to have a very full year-round community calendar of events while also offering numerous restaurants and shops for residents to enjoy.

All of Central Texas is within easy reach, thanks to the numerous major thoroughfares that pass through the city. Meanwhile, the Historic Downtown District of Hutto has plenty to offer for those who want to stay closer to come.

Hutto is served by the Hutto Independent School District, which is one of the fastest-growing districts in Texas. Since 2007, the district has grown from having just over 1,000 students educated on one K-12 campus to having around 10,000 students on twelve campuses.

The city is also home to the Eastern Williamson County Higher Education Center. The Center was established and formed through a partnership between Texas A&M University-Central Texas, Temple Junior College, and Texas State Technical College.

Crystal Hirst understands market conditions and how to position. She does her research well and helped us price our house to “SELL”. Indeed it sold much faster than our expectation, while multiple other units in the area, and in fact on the “same street”, still remain unsold. Ultimately Crystal brought us multiple interested buyers and we achieved higher than asking because of this multi-party interest that Crystal generated. We enjoyed our experience, her professionalism and excellent communication. We highly recommend Chrystal Hirst as your realtor.
