We were moving from CA, and after a few conversations with Betsy, she knew exactly what we wanted, by listening to us. We came out on our only home visit, and every home we saw fit our needs, and by the afternoon, we fell in love with our soon to be home. No time was wasted, and we were grateful, because we had to pack so much in a small amount of time. She even negotiated a deal, I didn’t think was possible with a new home builder saving us thousands! When it came down to find a temporary rental until our home was built…I trusted her completely. She negotiated a short term lease, in an area we highly desired. We are renting from the home right now and could not be any more satisfied! Betsy works hard by making sure you get what you want and is surprisingly (don’t be fooled by her smile) relentless in negotiating for you…that’s the type of realtor I want working for me.
We were introduced to Betsy by a family member (she helped him buy his condo) when we decided to relocate to the Austin area from the Midwest. From the beginning, she was responsive, helpful, and her knowledge of the Austin real estate market was impressive. We decided to rent for a few months, before buying a house. Betsy helped us find a great rental property. She took video of a couple of properties and we were able to select one with confidence even though we were out of state at the time. When we were ready, she helped us buy a home in Circle C. I cannot express how wonderful of an agent she was. She was indispensable during the entire process. Especially when the negotiation process got really difficult. This was our third time buying a home, and we had never used an agent before. I think we would have walked away from the deal had Betsy not been there to walk us through it all. To top it all off, Betsy even helped us find a new agent to sell our home in the Midwest! Our original agent was not working out and the house sat on the market for 5 months without a single offer. She interviewed agents and made a recommendation. After switching agents we got an offer within a week. We are now in the process of selling the house finally! Needless to say, we highly recommend Betsy Gallagher for buying or selling your home!
Betsy is thorough, honest, and hard-working. She answered all my questions and had some great advice throughout the process, and we had a fun time along the way! I will definitely call her again when I’m ready to sell!
We moved to Austin recently with the intention of renting. Betsy agreed it would be better to test drive the market first for a year before buying. She found us a great rental home in a great area, and I plan on using her again when I decide to make a hom purchase. I highly reccommend her service.

She is an expert and qualified counselor without being a coddler, and helped us end up in a property we are crazy about, without a lot of drama. Betsy is amazingly accommodating and prompt–she just GETS IT DONE. Emails, calls and texts are answered within a few hours, if not immediately. She will go the extra mile to get you into a property immediately, and on your schedule. We had not even scheduled a showing for the house we ultimately purchased, but drove by and thought it looked nice. Betsy got us into the property within minutes. She also helped us make an offer on July 4th, when plenty of other agents were not working. In short, Betsy is the perfect combination of straightforward, savvy, and action-biased. I have worked with Betsy for over 6 years as our agent in purchasing rental homes in the Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, Round Rock and Austin area. She listens, gives productive feedback, and has tremendous knowledge of area comps in both sales and rental prices. While we have closed on 16 properties over the years she has probably shown us 100. My family has known Betsy Gallahger for about 8 years. Her helping me sell the Condo, closed earlier this week, was our 3rd transaction. The 1st was my Mom tried to sell the Condo, Betsy was the listing agent, and eventually took it off the market after a few months. After I heard of this non – sale I bought the Condo from my Mom and Betsy was my Agent for the purchase in 2012. Fast forward to 2019. My elderly Mom moved in with my wife and I in Houston TX. I put the Condo up for Sale in November after updating and prepping the Condo for sale with her Concierge service. In my life, I have bought and sold 6 properties, so I have a little experience on how the residential real estate business works. I have to say….. I have never seen a Realtor go the EXTRA mile in customer service, attention to detail, working for her Client and problem solving. I can tell stories of how Betsy gave her own free time and expense to correct a problem, either to help my aging Mom move out items to storage to de-clutter for a listing or go to the Condo, very recently, and clean up a mess the HOA urgently claimed was mine days before the close. I would recommend Betsy to anyone in the Austin TX real estate market for extraordinary customer service, expertise, knowledge of the market and professionalism. I consider Betsy a good friend I can trust and my only regret is I do not have another Property to sale with Betsy’s help. To that end, Betsy and I will keep in contact for good buys as an investor if the right deal comes along.
