I have purchased and sold several homes with various real estate agents but my experience recently with Linda Baddour has been the best so far – beginning, middle, end, and beyond! My situation was complicated as I was navigating an out-of-state sale — with untimely repairs needed — to complete a 1031 Exchange into Texas. Linda’s awareness of the process and her relationships with the builder/seller kept everything moving; even when we thought the deal may not happen. Her composed demeanor was greatly appreciated when I felt so many things were out of control. She buffered me from “the noise” of the transaction by managing communications with the seller and escrow/title companies so I didn’t feel even more overwhelmed. She was always very responsive, even late into the evening. Linda’s CPA background was critical and appreciated as she also helped me make informed financial decisions. However, my experience with Linda was far beyond any I have had with other (many) realtors, and I really have no criticisms or suggestions to her at all. She had excellent knowledge of local market, Especially north Austin where she has greatest familiarity. She listened well!! Can’t do well without doing that. Showed appropriate homes, and knowledgeable about each one. Very accommodative for intense 48 hours of driving around as I am out of towner. Suggested good bids which were successful resulting in purchasing 2 homes in that time frame. Then meticulously followed up on every detail, setting up inspections, getting amendments, getting repairs, following up, and closing smoothly. I was out of town after making the offers, and she performed as if I were looking over her shoulder. Excellent communicator, people skills and a pleasure to work with. I have recommended her to others where I am and they will seek her out as remote investors, given my experience.

When deciding to sell our house, I contacted Linda as she was a friend of mine and a realtor. Even if I hadn’t known her personally, I couldn’t have chosen a better agent to handle our home sale from start to finish! In our first phone conversation, she outlined this unfamiliar process and walked us through next steps to prepare our house for sale. We met her at the house to walk through it together, and she detailed action items for us to handle in preparing the house. Her careful eye for detail helped us see things we had not noticed, and she went out of her way to arrange for some things to be done that we didn’t have time to do ourselves, even hiring these contractors at her own expense (mulch and power washing, complete staging of the home to add visual appeal).

My fiancé and I decided to start looking for our first home earlier this year and worked with Linda Baddour at Bramlett Real Estate. We were both familiar with how crazy the market had been and were discouraged when we learned that most houses that we would have wanted in the Austin area were getting offers $100k over asking and waiving appraisals. Although it was intimidating, Linda kept us informed of any changes or possibilities every single morning and ensured us that she would find something for us. We definitely kept her on her toes by changing the locations/property type/price range we wanted to look at several times!
I told her that the school system important to me and she sent over rankings and stats at every area we were looking at.
Linda never failed us at any point and rolled with the punches, while also keeping an eye out for our previous interests. She even went as far as to take time out of her day to show us a house on Easter! She eventually found us a VERY rare gem that happened to go on the market and when we decided to go forward, she acted swiftly and quickly and WE GOT IT!

I have been calling firms randomly to see how quick they would respond. Linda picked up the phone and right away she did the research on the property that I was interested in. The property was complicated, It was TOD zoned property which was new for everyone. But we wanted to know if this place can be turned into a commercial property and after she and I researched together I can do what I wanted to do with that property.
