It was a great pleasure working with Tara and her team. I live out of town and told Tara that I would be in Austin on a Sunday. Without hesitation, she scheduled to meet me at my convenience time. I appreciate that since Sunday is her family time, and not business time. Through out our meeting, she thoroughly walked me through with well prepared information, was patient with all my questions, suggested and advised me on what should be done and what would be best. Earlier this year my husband was in final interviews for a job out of state, and we contacted Tara McGuire with Bramlett Residential to start the conversation about selling our condo in South Austin. Tara was so quick to get back with us and schedule a meeting, and she was so informative and helpful even though we weren’t positive we were going to be moving. Once we heard definitively that he got the Michigan job, Tara and team worked fast to help us get our condo ready to sell. Her advice at every step of the way was incredibly helpful and made a stressful time planning a cross-country move much easier. Staging, photos, etc. went really smoothly and their timeline was excellent. It did take us around 2.5 months for an offer, but there was a lot of competition in our neighborhood with similar condos and townhouses on the market. We were getting updates each week about how to move forward, when to lower the price, etc. Tara was really communicative throughout the summer when it was on the market and was super helpful responding to any of our questions or concerns.

I researched the Texas Association of Realtors website looking for a realtor to handle an estate sale. After reading reviews of Tara McGuire, I was very impressed. I contacted her and learned her first house sale was in the neighborhood where my parent’s home was located. Tara has a fantastic team in place to assist her with the listings. She met with me at the house and waited patiently until I was provided the necessary paperwork to list the house. During this whole time, she kept in touch, kept me updated on the housing market, and was very supportive. Her team supports her requesting pertinent information regarding the house in order to provide the most information to potential buyers. We listed on a Thursday morning, had three offers by noon, and when the listing closed on Monday had eleven offers with all but two being full cash offers. Tara worked diligently to ensure this sale went through as smoothly as it could. I will definitely use her again should I need to sell a house. I highly recommend Tara.

Tara is a wonderful realtor. I had a historic multi-family Clarksville home in downtown Austin. I had a bad first experiance with another realtor and agency. I contacted Bramlett Realtors after terminating that contract and reached Tara. I explained to her that the property I was wanting to sell was a historic one of a kind downtown property. Although the property had an amazing location and alot of historic charm and some beautiful artistc upgrades, it was going to be hard to sell. It was a complicated one of a kind property, that required more atttention then other sales. Tara did a great job. She secured banks that were able to finance our one of a kind multi-family sale if neccessary. Tara stuck by me after three contracts fell through. We ended up securing an all cash contract and closed in ten days. I was very lucky to find Tara. We were in Austin in December 2020 for home leave from my assignment overseas, and had been planning to buy our retirement home in the summer of 2021 and just look around in the week before Christmas. I reached out to Bramlett – having had a very good experience working with them in the summer of 2016 (Tara McGuire was out agent then) to buy our first house (also in Austin). Our agent, Craig McGuire, did thorough research that he shared with us, and advised us – without pressuring us – to consider buying then, given that what we wanted would be well beyond our price point by the summer because of the conditions in the Austin market for the foreseeable future. Observing all the correct COVID-19 protocols, he showed us houses that fit what we were looking for, and once we saw one that we really wanted, gave us the advice needed to help us to win a bidding contest without breaking the bank. This was really important, as after putting in our bid we had to leave Austin and do everything at a distance. Craig was key to making that possible. He found us a good mortgage company that qualified us quickly and, thanks to all his efforts and consistent support, we were able to close in a little over a month – in the time of COVID, doing everything very long-distance, and in a crazy Austin housing market. We’re very happy with our home purchase, and with Craig!
Tara was great to work with. To be honest, the entire team was really on top of things and Tara made the whole process seamless. It really felt like a whole team was supporting us and let us focus on other things outside of the immediacy of selling the house. The transaction was great. Tara made good recommendations on the areas to focus on where to concede. Tara was great about being very upfront in regards to her expertise when we were unsure of certain things but would still make it clear the decision was ours. She was really helpful in helping us weigh out the decisions we made and the potential outcomes from those choices.

During our house hunting journey, we were absolutely BLESSED to have Tara guiding us. From day one, Tara has been awesome. Tara has consistently been professional, prompt in her communication, attentive to our needs, and very caring. She also is extremely understanding of the stress of home buying and has been so understanding of mine and my husband’s quirks. Tara always did her best to make sure we felt supported and was always honest with us. We completely trust Tara because she consistently proved she knew what she was talking about. Furthermore, the fact that she is so familiar with remodeling processes and costs, helped us better assess the many homes we saw. As to your question about what Tara did especially well; there were so many things. She absolutely always made the time to show us a house we expressed interest in….she never said “oh no, I can’t show you that house”–she never let us down. She is just a very kind, compassionate, and generous person. She always made us feel that she had our back and our best interest at heart. This is such a vulnerable process and she always supported us. There is nothing she could have done better.
Overall, the sales transaction of our home was very good. The only stress I felt was from the title company which was absolutely not Tara’s fault in any way. The title company agent was really not great and that was just our luck as that company was selected by the seller. Tara really made the buying process great.

Tara McGuire has been an amazing Realtor for me! I really can’t say enough good things. She worked with me to sell my house and buy another one. First of all – selling. I could tell from our initial meeting that she has all of her ducks in a row and thinks of everything. She has a ton of experience and she has a great team who help to support her success. She also is in the loop with contacts for other vendors (home improvement, financial related, etc.) that ended up being important with getting the house ready and actually crucial during the option period for the buyers (an impartial foundation assessment company). I was really impressed with the stager I had access to, and the professional photos of my house were fantastic (both no additional cost for me). Now, buying. I’ve had some twists and turns on my wish list and buying process but Tara has been patient with me and seems to have endless energy with marathon house tour days. I toured some open houses on my own as well, and one of the agents hosting an open house knows Tara and couldn’t say enough good things about her, which reassured me even more than I already knew I made a great choice. One thing that struck me is that she said Tara has a lot of great systems and processes in place and I totally see that. Now we are under contact for our new house, which we are really excited about, and will close this week! I loved that she is taking care of everything for me – she even scheduled the inspection and told me to show up at the end. One thing that I really noticed is that she knows what to say and when. For example, she recommended we go out of town the weekend we listed the house for sale. She gave me a couple interim updates and told me when I got my first offer (plus I had access to the system that records the visits) but basically didn’t worry me about anything until we got all the offers in (7!) and presented which one was best and why it was best. On the other hand, when I was buying, she kept me in the loop with every action – she submitted the offer, the other agent acknowledged, how any negotiations were going, etc. There’s no doubt Tara is a great choice!
