She was in constant communication with us even when there wasn’t an update. Finally, she negotiated favorable terms for us and got a reduction in rent for a longer lease time. She will be the one we choose when we buy our home in the next year.
I can promise you, Jean is the Realtor you want representing you. You will be amazed at how great she is! She is amazing at communicating which is something the majority of Realtors struggle with. It is a night and day difference with Jean. We sent her an inquiry through her website and had a response 5 minutes later-- at 8 pm at night!
On top of it all Jean is super cool and fun to talk to! She isn't from Austin, so she's worked extra hard to educate herself on the Austin area market. She KNOWS her stuff. Plus I love supporting women business owners so that was an extra bonus in working with Jean!

JEAN HOLM! Just got my first house in Texas. We moved here from Oceanside CA (San Diego) and were searching online for an Austin realtor. The universe somehow connected me to Jean. We lucked out! I have never met a more professional, thoughtful, funny, and hardworking person in my life. I’m not exaggerating. Buying a new house shouldn't be that hard and Molly Parks was definitely on our side when we purchased our home December 2019. Molly was our advocate from the beginning until closing. she was personable, quick to respond when we had mountains of questions, eased our minds throughout the process and most of all, she gave us our FIRST housewarming gift. After renting in Austin since 2012, Corrine Elgin turned me into an Austin homeowner! This wasn't easy, as I picked the most challenging period in recent history to be a homebuyer. Also given the parameters that I didn't want to move to the outskirts of town to be far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Corrine spent many hours each day gathering houses to consider, creating a list to visit, and driving me to probably close to 30 houses over roughly a month. We made offers on five houses that I recall, as Corrine guided me through that challenging process. And while I was approaching the point of giving up, Corrine refused to do the same -- so thankful, as it resulted in the offer on the 5th house being accepted! Every step of the way she made me feel confident enough to keep battling and it paid off. I couldn't have done it without her.

Ruth was great, and if I had to go through this again, I'd want her, who knows the ropes, to take care of buying and selling. For selling, it was stressful, especially at a time when the Pandemic level was quite high. We got
through it, though. For buying, since it was new construction, we would keep in touch off and on during the whole
build process. There was a hiccup at the end as the builder wanted to adjust the purchase agreement, but we managed to come through. She listened to me vent out in frustration, but it worked out in the end. I would definitely recommend her if friends are looking to move or buy.
As much as I would like to express what Ruth has been to us through this process, honestly, it will be an injustice. But know this, there is no way anyone else could have done what Ruth did. Honestly, I will not go to any other Realtor other than Ruth on our way back to Central Texas.
