I have to start off by saying that we were the quintessential naive first time home buyers. We walked into this with a little money and no clue what to do. Despite our lack of experience and constant questions, these ladies were extremely patient and kind! Ruth was our rock during all the issues that we experienced with the first lender. There were many times I would look at my phone, read email and I would immediately be filled with stress and anxiety. Almost instantly I would receive a follow-up email from Ruth and she was taking care of it. We put 100% trust in Ruth and she never let us down. Even after filing two applications with one lender and then having to switch to a different lender, Ruth was there for us and never gave up. I cannot express how grateful we are to have the privilege to work with Ruth. Also, I have been sharing the gospel of Ruth to everybody and referring her to all of our house looking friends.
The Jones experience with Ruth Powers and Realty Austin has been very rewarding. I was receiving some auto emails regarding homes in the areas I was interested in on a daily basis from Ruth-Realty Austin. When I realized I had a heart for the subdivision Bradfield Village in Buda, I asked Ruth to set me up on the system to receive an email if anything were to pop up in that subdivision. Two days later, I saw a drop in pricing on a home in that subdivision and contacted Ruth immediately. She met me and my husband Brent that same afternoon at the home which is now ours. Ruths extensive knowledge as a realtor helped us get a lot of the guess work out of buying a short sale home. The signing documents online was amazing. I like that Realty Austin is using this technology and that Ruth knew how to maneuver through it and could assist us over the phone on how to utilize it. When I finally settled on a home, Ruth's skills were most utilized in the negotiations and keeping the home buying process moving forward. Her ability to act on my behalf with the builder's agent and her ability to light fires when needed were invaluable to me, especially when we had a tight timeline to close on my home. At closing, Ruth made sure to walk through the paperwork with me, and was looking out for my best interests in making sure payments and language was included in the contract to protect me from overdrafts and delinquent payments. I appreciate all that Ruth and the Realty Austin team did for me during this process. I ended up with a beautiful home, and am very happy with the process.

I highly recommend Ruth Powers. She made a horrible experience of renting/selling my home a breeze. She was extremely flexible and accommodating. I don't know what I would have done without her over these past couple of years, and I don't know where to begin to sing my praises about Ruth. She was simply amazing. I had to move back to Wisconsin; you can imagine owning a home that far away would be a challenge. Ruth was there to help me with the house all the way through. I have no idea what would have happened had she not be there to guide me with the house. She is efficient, flexible and accommodating. I have been recommending her to all my friends back in Austin. This doesn't do her justice but it is a glimpse at what an amazing job she does for your company.

Ruth Powers is an excellent real estate agent! She is very patient and has a great sense of humor. She drove me to over 30 houses, some of which she knew I would not be interested in, but took me anyway because I insisted! She is very knowledgeable about the area and about the houses and where they were situated, such as behind a fire station. She also has been a lot of help with all the questions I needed answered about the paperwork once I chose a house. I would recommend Ruth to everyone who wants a very good real estate agent!
