My husband, Andy, and I bought our first home right before we were married in 1998. We had practically no money and it was a total fixer-upper. We did the whole remodel ourselves with a Home Depot 1-2-3 book. After we started having kids, we moved into a large family home that we thought we would live in forever. We used to joke, “we are leaving this house feet first”. During this time, I was working as a CPA, raising four kids, and buying investment properties. After living in Chicago for 13 years, we decided we were ready to live in a new city. We moved cross country to Austin, Texas, and purchased a 1968 home in pretty bad shape. We used a general contractor to take it to the studs to create a house that fit our large family’s needs.

Fast forward to my youngest going off to kindergarten, I was figuring out what I wanted my next role to be. I decided to get my real estate license so I could buy more investment properties and represent myself. After getting my license, my good friends asked me to help them look at one house. They weren’t really looking to move but this house caught their eye. We looked at a beautiful house, entered into a competitive multiple-offer situation, won with a really strong offer and I was hooked on helping other people realize their dreams.

I am now a top-producing agent in the Austin area and the top-producing agent at our brokerage. I typically close 40-50 transactions a year and consistently have annual sales between $40-$50 million, which is in the top 1% of agents in Austin. I work with all types of clients, first-time home and seasoned buyers, sellers, and investors. I love sharing my experiences and helping clients, whether it is my financial background as a former CPA, DIY remodeling our 1st home, buying investment property, moving cross country, or taking an older home to the studs and reinventing it. I consistently receive feedback from clients that they appreciate my direct communication style and organization.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring and finding the best hiking trails all throughout the greater Austin area, cheering on my kids in their activities, and reading. I am also passionate about giving back and co-founded a C.I.S.V chapter whose mission is to educate children and create a worldwide movement working toward peace and intercultural cooperation and understanding.
