Crestview Homes for Sale

Crestview in the Austin, Texas area is a community that offers a friendly, neighborly warmth and a high quality of living. New homeowners in the area find it easy to get involved, thanks to an active neighborhood association and many annual community events.

To name just a few Crestview events, a local ice cream social held is held every July and National Night Out events are held each August. These events are a great way to celebrate life with neighbors, both old and new.

In addition to a number of single-family homes, the area has a number of rentals. This ensures a diverse neighborhood and allows homeowners to choose the home and price range they are most comfortable with. Crestview is known for its well-maintained older homes. Beautiful older homes on mature treed lots are de rigueur here.

Crestview is a great neighborhood for students, who attend schools in the Austin Independent School District. Crestview students attend Brentwood Elementary School, Lamar Middle School, and McCallum High School. All schools have caring staff, strong academic offerings, and a host of extracurricular options.

After school, and after work, Crestview offers much to see and do. The nearby Beverly S. Scheffield Northwest Park offers green spaces and recreational areas. Whether you want to sunbathe and read a book, play a competitive sport, or hike, the park is an ideal place to go. The nearby Arboretum and Northcross Mall also provide hours of diversion for Crestview homeowners.

While the in the past Crestview was a bit remote from Austin, the city's expansion has meant that the community is now very centrally located. Bordered by Anderson Lane to the north, North Lamar Boulevard to the east, Justin Lane to the south, and Burnet Road to the west, Crestview is just north of the core of Austin . This means that all the amenities of downtown are right on Crestview's doorstep. The community itself also boasts a number of amenities and conveniences, though. There are a number of churches, locally-owned businesses, and barbershops right in Crestview and the nearby restaurant, The Little Deli, is a draw for Austinites. In the center of Crestview you will find the Crestview Arlan's, a very convenient grocery store.

Abridged Version: We closed on time at a lower price than expected and could not be happier!

Unabridged Version: As a first time home buyer, she repeatedly handed me answers to questions I hadn’t even come up with yet. Then for those few questions that did manage to remain unanswered long enough to leave my mouth, she quickly produced either answers or resources where I could find said answers.

Our home viewing tour that ranged all over the greater North Austin area was exceedingly well organized (everything moved quick, but nothing felt rushed). Then, after we pounced on a new construction, Vicki made herself available to help us review the builder’s contract and walked through the property with us for the pre-closing inspection. When we were ready again we contacted Vicki and I was happy to see that she still remembered us and was very responsive to us even though she was busy with a lot of other clients.
