I found this realtor group though Yelp and after a quick survey through their site asking what areas I was looking in, Ashley Vavasour called me. I toured some open houses on my own as well, and one of the agents hosting an open house knows Tara and couldn’t say enough good things about her, which reassured me even more than I already knew I made a great choice. One thing that struck me is that she said Tara has a lot of great systems and processes in place and I totally see that. Now we are under contact for our new house, which we are really excited about, and will close this week! I loved that she is taking care of everything for me – she even scheduled the inspection and told me to show up at the end. One thing that I really noticed is that she knows what to say and when. For example, she recommended we go out of town the weekend we listed the house for sale. She gave me a couple interim updates and told me when I got my first offer (plus I had access to the system that records the visits) but basically didn’t worry me about anything until we got all the offers in (7!) and presented which one was best and why it was best. On the other hand, when I was buying, she kept me in the loop with every action – she submitted the offer, the other agent acknowledged, how any negotiations were going, etc. There’s no doubt Tara is a great choice!
