This is our second time using Vicki. She helped us buy our first house in 2017 and was fantastic throughout that process. She made sure to keep the builder on target to complete as promised and made sure that whole process was painless and easy.
We ended up choosing a different realtor to sell that house in 2020 and honestly regretted it. I wish we had used Vicki at that time.
When we decided to move back to Austin I reached out to Vicki and she was again, amazing. Because of our busy life and my crazy work schedule, we weren’t able to actually go into Austin to find our house. We also ended up seeing the perfect house on the market a few months before we had decided to seriously start looking. In 24 hours, Vicki discussed the pros and cons of buying a house earlier than planned, set up a tour, and the toured the house for us. She then went again with my sister to make sure it was what we wanted.
We had a much more complicated process with this house- a lease back, difficulty with lenders, buying without ever setting foot in the house- and Vicki made it simple. I would definitely recommend her to anyone (and already have!)

My husband and I were a little concerned when we decided to buy a house, we have never done this before and mostly everyone finds it a very stressful process, but we were very lucky to have Vicki helping us through out this whole time. We came to Austin for 10 days and Vicki booked those days just for us. We provided the houses we were interested in and she set up the viewings. At each location, she provided us with copies of the full background, details, and necessary specifications of the house.

Where do I start?! I asked family for a recommendation and he couldn’t have hit the mark any better. Vicki Duran was responsive and on point from the first inquiry. I am one of those who likes to be conscientious of most things. So I reached out to her months before we were scheduled to fly in. She kept in touch during the waiting period and was ready to hit the “road” when we got into town. She had preowned and new builds ready, but in the climate of timing when we wanted to see homes… preowned were dropping and being picked up before you had a chance to view. So we went after new builds, she tirelessly called sales offices and showed us different communities. Vicki was taking notes somewhere because after the first community shown she knew what we wanted and didn’t want and didn’t waste time with the nots. We headed back “home” and two days later we were sending our earnest money to her. She did all the leg work for us. Every in person and zoom meeting she was there. She did the walk through with us and helped pick out areas that needed to be fixed. Vicki just knows the job, what we as new buyers should look for and what is expected of our new home. She is amazing. She was there from start to keys. I’m so grateful for all the time she spent on us. My hubby does NOT like change and she was good with him, gave him the space he needed while giving me the attention I needed. She can definitely read a room and is not afraid to speak up and advocate for her clients.

Abridged Version: We closed on time at a lower price than expected and could not be happier!
Unabridged Version: As a first time home buyer, she repeatedly handed me answers to questions I hadn’t even come up with yet. Then for those few questions that did manage to remain unanswered long enough to leave my mouth, she quickly produced either answers or resources where I could find said answers.
Our home viewing tour that ranged all over the greater North Austin area was exceedingly well organized (everything moved quick, but nothing felt rushed). Then, after we pounced on a new construction, Vicki made herself available to help us review the builder’s contract and walked through the property with us for the pre-closing inspection. I’m pretty sure she had some magical surgeon in a far-off land swap her human eyes out for those of a falcon, but I didn’t get a good enough look to confirm this.
We recently closed on a house where Vicki Duran represented us and we had a wonderful experience throughout the process – right from putting in an offer all the way to the closing. We reached out to Vicki a few years ago when we were in the market for a house but then our plans changed and we put the home buying on hold. Vicki Duran was an absolute champion! We have been looking for months in multiple areas and Vicki came in and made it all possible for us. She has been extremely responsive to new listings, showings and any possible question that came up. Even during these difficult times, Vicki was able to safely show us multiple properties and professionally managed the process around all COVID-related policies and safety measures.
