Vicki Duran is an amazing realtor!
This is our second time using Vicki. She helped us buy our first house in 2017 and was fantastic throughout that process. She made sure to keep the builder on target to complete as promised and made sure that whole process was painless and easy.
We ended up choosing a different realtor to sell that house in 2020 and honestly regretted it. I wish we had used Vicki at that time.
When we decided to move back to Austin I reached out to Vicki and she was again, amazing. Because of our busy life and my crazy work schedule, we weren’t able to actually go into Austin to find our house. We also ended up seeing the perfect house on the market a few months before we had decided to seriously start looking. In 24 hours, Vicki discussed the pros and cons of buying a house earlier than planned, set up a tour, and the toured the house for us. She then went again with my sister to make sure it was what we wanted.
We had a much more complicated process with this house- a lease back, difficulty with lenders, buying without ever setting foot in the house- and Vicki made it simple. I would definitely recommend her to anyone (and already have!)

My husband I worked with Elken Miller when we moved to Austin in 2021. She was so helpful during the whole process which was more difficult than usual since we were relocating from NYC. She has extremely detailed knowledge of the area which was so useful being that we were purchasing from far away. Elken guided us through the whole process and we have no regrets with the house or the move. We highly recommend working with her if given the chance.

We have been working with Ruth E Powers with Realty Austin for about a year on finding a house in North Central Austin. She was great to work with! While it took awhile to find the right property (we were picky), she stuck with us. Ruth was very helpful. I don’t know how many times we called on her to show us a listing but she was always there. I was receiving some auto emails regarding homes in the areas I was interested in on a daily basis from Ruth-Realty Austin. When I realized I had a heart for the subdivision Bradfield Village in Buda, I asked Ruth to set me up on the system to receive an email if anything were to pop up in that subdivision. Two days later, I saw a drop in pricing on a home in that subdivision and contacted Ruth immediately. She met me and my husband Brent that same afternoon at the home which is now ours. Ruth Powers is an excellent real estate agent! She is very patient and has a great sense of humor. Ruth was fantastic! When we bought our current house, Ruth was the seller’s agent and she was never pushy, she made us feel comfortable with the process and was very professional in all of our discussions. So when it came to selling our house, we interviewed 3 agents just to do our due diligence, but again Ruth’s professionalism was a step above the rest. During the selling process, we always felt Ruth had our best interest in mind and would not settle for anything substandard and I have fairly high standards. Although there were some challenges during the sale (all from the buyer’s side), Ruth fought for our positions and did a great job of insulating us from some of the craziness and always remained calm and collected, which provided us with peace of mind during the process. Ruth is an outstanding professional and we were blessed to find her and work with her. I highly recommend Ruth and can only hope to work with her again in the future.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Ruth over the past 10+ years. She truly cares for her clients, understands their needs and looks out for the best for them. In selling our home with Ruth this November, she took the extra effort to come to the house and walk us though room by room how to best prepare the house. She brought in and helped set up her own staging items to make the home even more appealing. Ruth arranged excellent professional photographs of the home and amenities, which looked great in the listing and in the beautiful brochure. In negotiations, she looks out for your best interests and pays attention to the finer details like warranties and HOA transfer fees, etc, and tries to negotiate the most reasonable deal for her client. She is always quick to respond to texts, e-mails and calls and has gone over and above working on evenings, weekends and even on her vacation time if there is an urgent issue to deal with. We always felt like we were in good hands with Ruth as our agent!

I have used her services before so I knew of her high level of professionalism. But this time it was a compete package, the experience of having her involved in the improvements phase paid off dividends achieving a high level of presentation to this unit; which resulted in an immediate sale and a very well presented and efficient unit for the new owners. She was able to work with my contractor and have a positive impact in the final overall result. She represented her company and the realtors association as a team who care for our needs and was able to produce immediate positive results. Mrs. Powers have the expertise and she was able to take the time needed to produce great results. For me she is a great knowledgeable realtor and I will be happy to recommend her and her company to anyone who asks my opinion.
Eric Engberg has done a great job helping us buy (2) residential properties and sell our home. He goes above and beyond by providing top notch services such as staging and professional photography. Ruth Powers of Realty Austin is a top notch real-estate agent. I have used her services for my first house, back in 2003, based upon a review of her by a close friend, and she did not fail to disappoint. I was a bachelor at the time, and we bachelors are typically done in 5 or 6 showings. Not me – I made it to 15 houses before deciding. She was behind me all the way, and even took me to a few houses she did NOT recommend I purchase, just to show me the difference of what makes a good vs house. I have recommended her to my friends ever since, and she has delighted them as much as me. Fast forward to now and why I am writing this review no longer a bachelor, and we needed to move. Ruth engaged with my wife and I and helped us navigate the (for us) uncharted waters of selling and buying at the same time. She did so with grace no doubt based on her years of experience, and fought hard for us to be able to close on both deals. We nearly lost our purchase 3 times due to adverse actions on the part of the seller, but she kept up the pressure. She worked with us to make our target numbers in both directions, and was exemplary in all areas. I really can’t recommend her any more highly.
