Cabinets
You’ll always get the cheapest cabinets off the shelf at Home Depot. These are pretty inexpensive and good for rental properties or renovations <$400k. A step up is Ikea, which actually look really good and are solid construction. These are good up to ~$700k. After that, you have to go custom. Custom cabinet makers below.

- SkyviewEstimator.com — If you pay $30-$40 for a roof report, you will know exactly the roof that needs to be installed and easily shop it to multiple roofers without requiring a site visit. You’ll get past the expensive guys super quickly and get the best price.

Re David Garza in painters. I use to use refer him for all my clients (never for cabinets though), he was always reliable and flexible for me. I sent a lot of business his way. Last year he bailed on a full house interior job I was overseeing – two days before he was meant to start. I have not used him since. He said he didn’t have the labor to do it, but frankly I think he misquoted – he may not have had the labor, but the guy I found did it with just two and that is what David would of had too. Just thought I would share as I saw his name on this list.
